  1. Wow -- talk about "wordless"; talk about "telling a story"! This is amazing, both composition-wise, and intrigue-wise. For some reason it makes me think of the fiction of Marion Taeves. Also I love how, in it's "smaller" form, one hardly knows what the "figure" is; it could almost be a piece of sculpture … but then, enlarged, one comes upon a poignant indication of, well, what Allyson would call "a writing prompt" -- a story in the making for sure!

  2. Love the lines, textures, colours and the back slash through it all, Allison. The view through the green glass wall of the people sitting in the window is touching ... a serious conversation going on here I think. Awesome WW shot!

  3. She's leaning against the glass. Her coat is smooshed. And there's a sense of the serious... I don't get 'laughter'. Is this a break-up? And why do I even think that? The austereness of the bricks? The line drawn through the scene? Only the barest hint of the 'other' via a sleeve as if soon enough even that won't be relative... Most of all, I'm interested to know what about this scene caught your attention... Thousands would have walked right by.

  4. I love this photo. The colours are marvellous and it is also just so intriguing. You want to enter the space and find out what is happening. As others have already commented, it is a great story prompt.
